Coline Machecourt
COLINE MACHECOURT
Coline Machecourt is a French composer for film & media, as well as a violinist, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist based near Paris. She works with production music libraries and develops music for film & media.
Her music has been featured on BBC, Warner Bros. Discovery / HBO Max, Lifetime TV and others.
Defined by the violin and the voice, her work moves across a wide and diverse musical spectrum, drawing from classical traditions, contemporary writing, world music and cinematic sound. Narrative-driven and attentive to texture, nuance and sonic detail, her music shifts freely between chamber intimacy and expansive, modern soundscapes.
She also provides remote recording services as a violinist, vocalist and flautist for composers, libraries and media productions.
Finally, she supports composers through mentoring sessions across three programs covering business vision, development, and technical skills.

Coline & Solmi
Together with Solmi Kim, we founded Coline & Solmi, a composing duo exploring a musical language at the crossroads of cinematic, organic and electronic sound. We combine voices, acoustic instruments, textures and sound design to create immersive musical worlds shaped by and in dialogue with the image.
Our first album, Liminal Horizon, grew out of this shared exploration, a sonic landscape where female voices, orchestral textures, electronic sounds and folk influences meet.
